Chasing Places is a free travel guide. We do not sell a product of our own, so commissions from affiliate links are what keep the site running and the guides free to read.

How it works

When you click an affiliate link and book or buy something, the company pays us a small commission. The price you pay is the same as it would be if you went to the site directly. Our affiliate partners include Agoda, Booking.com (through Commission Junction), CheapOair, BookingBuddy, Discover Cars, Rentalcars.com, World Nomads and Lonely Planet.

How we choose partners

We only recommend companies we have selected and used on our own travels. Commissions never decide what we write: if a hotel, tour or service disappointed us, we say so.
